Zen Studio

Designed by ARQ partners, Paul Bonacci and Lucy Schlaffer, the Zen Studio was originally a simple wood-framed shed on their coastal Maine property. Rebuilt from the ground up, the “shed” now features high-performance air-sealing and insulating materials, natural products and finishes, photovoltaic panels and plaster interiors. The studio now serves as a peaceful retreat and guest house for visitors looking for a bit of quiet and relaxation.
