Foreside Barriers
The covid pandemic had a significant impact on the nascent community of locally-owned bars and restaurants in the Foreside section of Kittery, Maine, as it did in small towns and cities throughout the United States. In an effort to promote safe, outdoor dining options for local businesses, ARQ partners Paul and Lucy helped with a community-led initiative to paint traffic barriers used to block off sections of public streets for use as small outdoor street dining locations.
