WYPR Accessibility and Facade Renovation
Baltimore, Maryland

WYPR was looking to make their front entry accessible and reduce the solar heat gain on the front facade. ARQ designed a sloping entry walkway integrated with native planting as the first phase of the renovation (completed 2019). A series of perforated screen to help reduce the intensity of sunlight of the east-facing side of the building has been planned as a second phase of the project.

Report which described the original design of and subsequent modifications to a mid-century Smithsonian Institution museum building. The report was completed in preparation for an extensive 2010 renovation of the museum building.
